Tenth Anniversary:This Blog is Ten Years Old!

In August 2009, I was on a mission to achieve my best hair ever and to educate others to achieve their own hair success too!  With countless clients saying, I had "growing hands" and their hair had never been as long as we grew it from a partnership standpoint.  I am so proud to have been a Master Cosmetologist over 15 years.

As far as the blog is concerned, digital pictures were not popular when I started the blog in the early years (2009).  So many of my early articles do not have pictures. My most popular articles as far as blog traffic are from 2011 through 2014, and they include pictures.

I am so proud that the Sisterlocks topic is trending more than ever.  I feel like I inspired those who are a part of the latest wave of interest.  I see starter locs everywhere.  I feel like I was a leader in my own way as far as the corporate world beginning to embrace locked hair.

My blog represents my hair struggle as I was approaching age forty, and my finding Sisterlocks as a hair solution for me. Indeed, I am proud of what I have inspired and achieved with my blog.

August 2019 is the blog's Tenth Anniversary with over 1.1 million pageviews! Please feel free to share your testimonies and favorite article titles.

It's my 6th Blog Anniversary Month!

Fresh fruits, HerbaLife nutrition, Workouts and Body Transformation Challenges have all had me preoccupied.  This month is my 12th hair salon anniversary, and my 6th anniversary for this hair blog.  In addition, three years and one month is around the corner for my Sisterlocks.  I will do my usual check-in soon.  So stay tuned.  

On a separate note, I have been tweeting more.  I also plan on working on some fantasy hair themes as well as some more videos on blow drying natural hair.  Social media is a workout all by itself.  As soon as my weight loss challenge is over, I will be so happy.  I hope that I place in the contest, because it has been consuming me.  When I am not working on hair, then I am working out.  I will be refocused before October with more educational posts!  Thanks so much for your support and following me!  The best is yet to come!

PhenomenalhairCare Blog 4th Anniversary Update

Hey Everyone!  I have been all over the place with hair topics - I know.  Sometimes technical, Sometimes fun, Sometimes serious, Sometimes heartfelt, Sometimes strategic.

I must say that the 95% of my clients are not natural nor do they have locks.  I suppose as my microlocks get longer, then I will attract more lock clientele.  So hair extensions and relaxers and roller sets and blow dry styles represent my clientele and will probably dominate my hair topics in the future until I gain more length on my own locks.

My blog has now reached over 350,000 pageviews within the four years of its existence.  I have over 600 articles posted.  I am looking for a literary agent to possibly turn the blog into a book in the future.  Possibly within another two years when my microlocks past shoulder length.  I am also desiring to open an ultimate hair salon in the Beverly Hills, California area.

So thanks so much for your support of this blog.  I am open to guest writers for relevant articles.  So I am excited to enter into year five learning more and sharing more for all those hair enthusiasts!  (Not just Black hair, although 80% of my clientele is African American, I love all hair!)
