Yet experiencing breakage and/or shedding -> 

Pushes one into desperation of a big chop -> 

Thinking the new growth will look like all the curly ladies in the print ads -> 

But the reality is that all natural hair is not elongated and soft -> 

So through research and trial/error, one learns to Love one's own hair.

• Everyone does NOT survive this natural journey because of peer pressure, lifestyle, etc.
• Everyone will not have the same natural hair journey.
• Everyone who learns to work with the natural hair that God gave them often finds a renewal of spirit 
• and self esteem.

Taliah Waajid's hair care line is everywhere.  It is easier to list the places where it is not than to list the places where it is sold.  What an incredible business achievement!  The road has not been easy, but she continues to lead!  Congratulations to Taliah Waajid for being an exceptional pioneer in our natural hair care industry!

Star Struck at the 18th Annual World Natural Hair Show

Aevin Dugas is known for having the world's largest afro.

 April from vh1's Sorority Sister TV show came out to support the event.  She was not scheduled for any appearances, but I recognized her walking around, and she graciously agreed to take a picture with me.  I absolutely loved her on the Sorority Sister TV show.  She was the best dressed; had the best hair; smart, lively, theatrical, and one of the classiest divas of the show. I just loved her!!!!

 22" of natural hair weave by Curl Genetics.  Their longest length is 28 inches. The black hair is the model's own natural hair.  The brown color is the weave.  The company's focus is on texture.

Taliah Waajid looked awesome in red.  I did not get a picture of her, 

but this was my first show attended of hers and I just loved it!!!!  I also had a lady to recognize me from my youTube liquid Chalk Tutorial.  I felt like a little celebrity.

A great day trip indeed!

 Taliah Waajid Black Earth Products Crinkles & Curls Natural Hair & Loc Styling Lotion is a foam that delivers a soft set.  I used it to "dry set" my locs overnight.

Because this foam delivers a soft hold, you can use it daily to dry set your locs at night. I used 3 strand twists put into a bantu knot to achieve this look.

I also had to use some Joico Firm Holding spray to give me volume and to reinforce the hold of my curls.
